It’s a new model year for the Kia Sorento, and while not much has changed, the model continues to be a smart option for those seeking an attractive and affordable crossover SUV. We’re exicted to note one major update: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions with the infotainment system starting with the LX trim. Read on to learn about your full 2017 Kia Sorento trims and color options.
Everyone likes the price tag of base trims, but sometimes it’s nice to get more features so you walk away with a wide variety of things to show off, and comforts and conveniences that will last as your Kia does. No matter where you sit, there is a 2017 Kia Sorento trim level for you. Seven total trims are available, with four V6 options: L, LX, LX V6, EX, EX V6, SX V6, SX Limited V6.
The standard L comes with a 2.4-liter I-4 that delivers 185 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. The EX trim is the only option with a 2.0-liter turbo four, which ups the power to 240hp and 260 pound-feet. Finally, the V6 engine is a 290 horsepower, 252 pound-feet beast for those who want power.
More Models to Consider: 2017 Kia Sportage Updates
Standard features include solar control glass, projector beam headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, hands-free Bluetooth, steering wheel controls, Drive Mode Seelct, power windows and locks, remote keyless entry and cloth seats.
Available features run the gamut of what’s available on the market today, from a 14-way power-adjustable driver’s seat to the UVO eServices 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in navigation.
As you can see in the below image, there are a whole host of exterior color options for the 2017 Kia Sorento, meaning you’ll almost certainly find a style that catches your eye. One thing to note is that availability of the colors does depend on the trim level you choose. The base trim level is the most limited, but even at higher trims you might find select colors removed from the palette.
