It has been a while since Kia fans first saw the Telluride SUV concept launch two years ago, and since then the Kia team has been hard at work creating a production model that will appeal to three-row SUV shoppers. Before the production model’s official launch, Kia fans can see a sneak peek of the 2020 Telluride in an unexpected place: the runway. Thanks to a collaboration with designer Brandon Maxwell, a special ranch-ready edition of the 2020 Telluride strutted its stuff at New York Fashion Week. “Telluride summits Kia’s SUV lineup and forged a surprising new path with its runway debut at New York Fashion Week,” said Saad Chehab, vice president of marketing communications, Kia Motors America. “Only a brand as forward-thinking as Kia could collaborate with Brandon Maxwell to launch the Telluride ahead of its official debut at the North American International Auto Show in January.”

While we expect that most information about the 2020 Kia Telluride will be released at its launch at the New York International Auto Show in January, we do know a few things already about the new SUV. After release, it will be the largest SUV in the Kia lineup with an eight-passenger max seating capacity and a larger overall footprint than the current seven-seater Kia Sorento. It will also have a V6 engine option.
