Did you hear the exciting news? There’s a new Kia in town—the Carnival! The all-new Kia Carnival, which is taking the place of the Sedona in the Kia lineup, is billed as a multi-purpose vehicle or MPV. It’s meant to have the spaciousness you know and love from minivans as well as the capabilities and bold design elements you can typically find in SUVs. One thing that makes each ride enjoyable is the technology, so we wanted to explore some of the 2022 Kia Carnival available technology features to see what it has in store for you.
The 2022 Kia Carnival will be offered in four trims: LX, EX, SX, and SX Prestige. Right off the bat with the base LX model, you will have access to a number of exciting technology features. An eight-inch audio display with wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® comes standard, but if you want to upgrade, go for the EX, SX, or SX Prestige trims, which come with a 12.3-inch audio display with navigation, Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, HD Radio, SiriusXM, Bluetooth® with Voice Recognition, and an integrated modem.
Six speakers come standard in the LX model, while the EX and SX models offer up eight speakers. The SX Prestige provides a Bose® 12-speaker premium audio system with an external amplifier and subwoofer for even more bang for your audio buck.
The whole lineup offers a floor console media port with two USB ports as well as second-row USB ports that are integrated into the side of the first-row seats. You’ll even find standard third-row USB ports that are located above the arm rests. This means no matter where you’re sitting, you’ll be able to charge your compatible device on those long journeys.
Speaking of long journeys, those will be even more fun for those in the back with the available dual-screen rear seat entertainment system that is offered on the SX and SX Prestige models. Finally, for more convenience, the 2022 Kia Carnival comes standard with the Smart Key system, featuring push-button start, a burglar alarm, escort headlamps, and immobilizer and panic features.
The 2022 Kia Carnival is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2021, so stay in touch with our inventory for its arrival!
