We all know that oil changes are vital, but why is that? What makes it so crucial? Motor oil is like the blood of your car, and the engine is like the heart. It needs oil to flow through it to make everything run smoothly. Over time, your motor oil gets used up and filled with debris. Enter the oil change. An oil change service replenishes and replaces your motor oil to keep everything running right. If you go too long without an oil change, you will face dire consequences. Basically, your engine will die and go beyond affordable repair. We recommend that you get your oil changed at least once every 5,000 miles, but you should check your owner’s manual for specifics about your vehicle.

I have a symbol that is showing on my instrument cluster. I looks like a gear. At the top it says user settings and then suggest hitting the down arrow.
Can you tell me what this is all about. I cannot seem to get rid of it and I don't see anything like it in the manual?
Thank you,
