With the coming of the all-new 2021 Kia Seltos, you may be curious as to which entry trim option is right for you. While both come with an impressive list of technology and comfort features for the same $21,990 MSRP, we here at Garden Grove Kia want to help you decide what option is best for you.
Both the 2021 Kia Seltos S and LX models boast a strong cast of features to keep drivers safe. These come in different forms – mainly the Rear Occupancy Alert (ROA) systems, Electronic Stability Control, and Traction Control systems. However, one main difference comes in the addition of the Kia Drive Wise – Driver Assist Technology to the S-models. This host of technology helps with vision and added assistance when needed.
Overall, both the 2021 Kia Seltos entry-trim models come with plenty of creature comforts for your drive. Both models come with an 8.0-inch Touch-Screen Display with a rear camera and both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ Smartphone integration. Some minor differences include interior and cosmetic features, as the S-model currently has more exterior color options and interior amenities. Some other features the S-model includes that are not available in the LX-model:
However different the 2021 Seltos S and LX model’s interior and safety features may be, there are other differences when it comes to performance. Those interested in an all-wheel drive option without wanting to purchase a higher trim level will find it in the LX-model. The S-model has an all-wheel drive option but that does cost more than the standard option. This largely sets apart the two vehicles, as the starting LX-model is slightly heavier but receives a strong 27 city / 31 highway MPG. This is just a tick below the base S-model’s 29 city / 34 highway MPG spread.
In the end, both the 2021 Kia Seltos S and LX feature a strong set of capabilities while differing on a few drive features. With so many options to choose from, either vehicle model could be the right one for you. Stop into Garden Grove today and test out our models to see which one you like best!
