The standard engine offered for the 2022 Kia Soul is a 2.0-liter in-line four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) and the power is sent to the front wheels through the standard front-wheel-drive system. 

If you are looking for more power, the top-end Turbo variant gets a turbocharged 1.6-liter in-line four-cylinder engine that pumps out 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. This engine gets a crisp-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Some other components worth noting are the bigger disc brakes and the sport-tuned suspension.
