How much cargo volume is in the 2018 Kia Sorento?
The Sorento is the largest of two SUVs in Kia’s lineup. While each of the trim levels of the new Sorento features different engine options and features, they are all the same size and contain the same interior volume. The initial amount of cargo space available is 38.8 cubic feet. Not too bad, eh? Fold down the rear seats and that space almost doubles to 73.5 cubic feet. Compare that to the Kia Sportage and those numbers look even better. The Sportage has a maximum interior cargo volume of 60.1 cubic feet, a far cry from the Sorento’s capacity.

Outside of the cargo area, the Sorento still offers a bunch of space. The passenger volume comes in at a spacious 146 cubic feet, and everyone inside can enjoy up to 44 inches of legroom, as well as 40 inches of headroom. All of the descriptive words in the world won’t do the interior of the Sorento justice; you just have to come see it for yourself. Again, it truly is a pretty ride, inside and out. Oh, and did we mention its fuel economy? It averages just under 30 highway MPG and is one of the most efficient models in its class. Don’t waste any more time—come in and check it out!
