2020 Kia Soul engine options
There are five total trims available for the 2020 Soul and two different engine options. The LX (base), S, X-Line, and EX all come with one available engine. These models are fitted with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine powered by 147 horses. The GT-Line trim comes standard with that same engine, but it can also be upgraded to have a 1.6-liter I-4 engine with 201 horsepower. Both engine options are great choices and will help you averages upwards of 30 combined mpg. The base engine is paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission, but drivers can opt for a two-speed CVT or a seven-speed auto-shift manual tranny.
