2020 Kia Sportage engine specifications 
The first three trim levels of the 2020 Sportage all come with the same 181-horsepower, 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine. Each trim can be equipped with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The top-of-the-line SX model comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine powered by 237 horses. The SX will certainly give drivers a thrill with all of that added power. The SX is also available with front-wheel and all-wheel drive. All models, regardless of the trim level, come with a six-speed automatic transmission with auto-manual settings. The 2020 Sportage produces up to 260 lb.-ft. of torque with the turbo engine and can tow up to 1,653 lbs. when properly equipped.
