Following are the list of updates that the 2023 Kia Sportage will receive:
- Most of the 2023 Sportage trims will be assembled alongside the Telluride, Sorento, and K5 at Kia’s West Point, Georgia plant.
- Larger in multiple dimensional aspects compared to the previous generation, with best-in-class rear seat legroom and rear cargo capacity that is the largest in the segment.
- Larger and more capable lineup featuring an all-new X-Line and Sportage X-Pro trims, as well as forthcoming electrified versions.
- Comprehensive and distinct trim lineup that includes LX, EX, SX, SX-Prestige, plus new adventure-ready trims (X-Line, Sportage X-Pro, and X-Pro Prestige) that leverage Sportage AWD’s 1.5-inch increased ground clearance along with unique body and interior trims, as well as a new all-terrain tires and multi-terrain mode AWD (all-wheel drive) system.
- Increased power output via a new 2.5-liter Inline-four-cylinder engine that comes with a new eight-speed automatic transmission targeted to produce 187 horsepower.
- “Opposites United” design philosophy that aims at blending futuristic and rugged design elements.
- Targeted to offer eight percent better fuel-economy despite the larger overall size.
- Eight standard Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including newly available features such as live feed Blind-Spot View Monitor within instrument cluster and 360-degree Surround View Monitor with 3D View.
- The 2023 Sportage will debut near-luxury features including available dual panoramic curved 12.3-inch display screens.
