While it is always perfect golfing weather in SoCal, springtime is still the best time to get out to the links. The Masters are over with, so it’s officially golf season. California as a whole has some of the best golf courses in the United States, and the Garden Grove area is no exception to that. Whether you’re in the heart of Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Fullerton, Long Beach, or Fountain Valley, there are great spots to golf. Keep reading to learn about some of our favorite courses!

River View Golf Course
1800 W Santa Clara Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92706
River View offers some of the best scenery you will ever take in on a golf course. The course’s name should be a dead giveaway, but the Santa Ana River cuts right through most of the holes on the course, making for a beautiful challenge. Golf is frustrating as it is, you might as well enjoy your view.
Mile Square Golf Course
10401 Warner Ave, Fountain Valley, CA 92708
With less water and more open spaces, you might be able to take a few strokes off your final score. Perfect for intermediate golfers, Mile Square features two 18-hole courses and a full-service clubhouse. Get some friends together and schedule a foursome!

Willowick Golf Course
3017 W 5th St, Santa Ana, CA 92703
Willowick is actually the oldest 18-hole public course in Orange County. So, not only will you be playing on a pristine course, but you will get to take in some history. The course also recently opened a 5,000 square-foot full-service bar and restaurant that has imported beers, American-bistro fare, and beautiful outdoor seating.
