The most exciting part about the 2021 Kia K5 is in its two engine options. A 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder comes standard and receives up to 180 horsepower. However, its main draw comes in the fact that the K5 will become the Kia brand’s first-ever sedan model that has an Available All-Wheel Drive Option (coming in late 2020). With it comes the Drive Mode Selection Feature, which allows for driving optimization on the road with six possible choices: Normal, Smart, Sport, Custom, Snow (AWD Models), Sport+ (GT-Line Trim). On GT-Line trims, a beefier 2.5L engine is available that punches up to 290 horsepower and 311 ft-lbs of torque.
